Bringing private healthcare to KwaMhlanga.
Bulk earthworks and bulk infrastructure underwayUpdated September 2026
Spring Life Private Hospital is a 100-bed private acute hospital currently under development in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga, designed to bring modern, comprehensive healthcare closer to the communities it serves. With a focus on clinical excellence, patient-centred care and accessible specialist services, Spring Life is being developed to become a trusted healthcare destination for patients and medical professionals across the region.
The nearest private hospital is a 70 kilometre drive.
Patients in KwaMhlanga and neighbouring areas who need private acute care travel to Pretoria or Witbank. Families follow them. Costs, travel time and the break in continuity of care all fall on the patient.
Spring Life is being built four kilometres off the R573 Moloto Road, inside the community it serves.

The hospital occupies 16 percent of a 5.4 hectare site, well inside the 70 percent permissible coverage, which leaves room for later expansion and for parking at grade.
